Career.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives in Mashonaland Central Province, Zimbabwe. You will be responsible for creating a robust learning ecosystem that supports employees at all levels, from entry-level to senior leadership. This includes identifying critical skill gaps, developing bespoke training modules, implementing innovative e-learning solutions, and championing a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise will guide the selection and implementation of cutting-edge pedagogical methods and technologies to ensure our learning interventions are engaging, effective, and measurable. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's overall business objectives.
- Design, implement, and manage a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance modules.
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement across all departments.
- Oversee the development and delivery of innovative learning solutions, utilizing a blended approach (e.g., e-learning, workshops, coaching, mentorship).
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and demonstrable ROI on all initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using clear metrics and feedback mechanisms, making continuous improvements.
- Research and integrate best practices in adult learning theory, instructional design, and emerging L&D technologies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and department managers to ensure L&D initiatives meet specific organizational and individual needs.
