Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport the principal to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain the vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring regular cleaning, servicing, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Plan routes in advance, considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and preferred timings to ensure punctuality.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or other items as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the principal's schedule, activities, and personal information.
- Be available for flexible working hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, as needed.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrate defensive driving techniques and maintain a high level of awareness on the road.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or G preferred)
- Proven experience as a personal driver or chauffeur
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, shortcuts, and traffic patterns, particularly Victoria Island and its environs
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and routine maintenance
- Impeccable driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and punctuality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
Preferred Qualifications
