Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport company personnel, executives, and materials to designated locations.
- Plan routes efficiently, considering traffic, weather conditions, and road closures to ensure timely arrivals.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness, both interior and exterior, and ensure it is always in excellent condition.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly to management.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and service maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as required.
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding company information.
- Manage time effectively to accommodate unforeseen schedule changes or additional assignments.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s License (Class E or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably for a corporate entity or high-profile individuals.
- In-depth knowledge of Lagos road networks, traffic patterns, and alternative routes.
- Excellent defensive driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
