Based in our vibrant Wortley, Leeds office, you will be the cornerstone of our client’s experience, guiding them through the intricacies of their insurance policies and providing crucial support during claims. This pivotal role involves a comprehensive range of activities, from advising new and existing clients on suitable insurance products – including life, home, motor, and business – to meticulously processing policy applications, modifications, and renewals.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders, addressing their queries with clarity and professionalism, ensuring they fully understand their coverage options and policy terms. A significant part of your responsibility will also involve the initial intake and diligent processing of insurance claims. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate policies.
- Process new policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Manage the initial intake of insurance claims, collecting all necessary documentation and information from clients.
- Act as a primary liaison between clients, underwriters, and claims adjusters, ensuring seamless communication.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of policy terms, coverage details, and claims procedures to clients.
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, policy data, and claims status in CRM systems.
- Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and data protection guidelines.
- Educate clients on risk management strategies and ways to optimize their insurance coverage.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products based on client needs.
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a client-first approach.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an insurance advisor or claims processing role (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
