Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on various conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, chains, and pneumatic components.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic malfunctions using schematics, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  • Install, calibrate, and commission new conveyor equipment and system upgrades.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and clear communication to clients regarding system status and solutions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Conveyor Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems (e.g., motors, sensors, PLCs) and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
