Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and visionary Director of Research & Development (R&D) to spearhead our innovation initiatives in Mutare, Manicaland Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with the company’s long-term vision and business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of scientists, engineers, and researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept validation to prototyping, testing, and production handover.
- Manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial parameters.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, research opportunities, and intellectual property relevant to our target markets.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with academic institutions, industry experts, and external research organizations.
- Ensure all research and development activities comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and ethical guidelines.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
