Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred).
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, adherence to specifications, and identify potential issues.
  • Assist in performing land surveys, collecting field data, and processing survey results.
  • Perform material testing, including soil, concrete, and asphalt, and interpret results.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers to develop design concepts and produce final construction documents.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, and reports meticulously.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Contribute to problem-solving and provide technical support during all project phases.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with surveying equipment and data collection.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and testing procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and technical specifications.
