Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all passengers as they board the bus, creating a positive atmosphere.
- Efficiently collect fares, issue tickets, and validate passes using electronic systems or manual methods.
- Provide accurate information regarding routes, timetables, destinations, and connecting services.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including the elderly, disabled individuals, and those with prams or luggage.
- Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the journey, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Manage passenger flow during boarding and alighting, especially at busy stops.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the passenger compartment of the bus.
- Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy, ensuring daily reconciliation of takings.
- Communicate effectively with the bus driver and central control regarding operational updates, delays, or incidents.
- Respond to passenger inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
