Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine data quality checks and audits to identify discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies within various databases and data systems.
  • Execute data cleansing tasks to correct identified issues, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data validation rules, procedures, and best practices to proactively prevent data quality issues.
  • Document data integrity issues, their root causes, resolutions, and standard operating procedures to maintain comprehensive knowledge bases.
  • Support the integration of new data sources into existing systems, meticulously verifying data quality and mapping accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business intelligence, to understand data requirements and resolve complex data-related problems.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key data quality metrics and overall data integrity status, presenting findings clearly.
  • Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at improving overall data governance frameworks and data management practices across the organization.
  • Learn and proficiently utilize various data analysis and manipulation tools, software, and platforms under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Provide essential support for ad-hoc data requests and analyses, helping to deliver timely and accurate information to stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
