Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished goods against purchase orders, specifications, and quality standards.
- Verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation for all received shipments, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.
- Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances, and maintain detailed records in our quality management system.
- Assist in the segregation and labeling of accepted and rejected materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and quality control teams to resolve receiving issues and improve inspection processes.
- Operate basic measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) after training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the receiving and inspection areas.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, data entry).
