Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client consultations to understand vision, budget, and expectations.
- Develop detailed wedding proposals, including themes, décor, timelines, and vendor recommendations.
- Manage comprehensive wedding budgets, track expenses, and negotiate vendor contracts to secure the best value.
- Source, vet, and coordinate with high-quality vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, venues, etc.).
- Create and manage meticulous event timelines and schedules for both the planning phase and the wedding day.
- Oversee all logistical aspects leading up to and on the wedding day, including setup, breakdown, and crisis management.
- Provide design direction and aesthetic guidance to clients, ensuring all elements align with their desired style.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Conduct venue walkthroughs and attend tastings and trials with clients.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are acquired as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wedding trends, industry best practices, and local vendor offerings.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in wedding planning or high-end event management.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in budget management and event planning software.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for design and detail.
