Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage community engagement strategies across various platforms to foster a vibrant and interactive user base.
  • Actively moderate user-generated content, discussions, and comments, ensuring adherence to community guidelines and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
  • Create compelling and shareable content (e.g., social media posts, newsletters, blog articles) that resonates with our community members.
  • Plan, organize, and host online events, webinars, and Q&A sessions to boost engagement and provide value to the community.
  • Monitor, track, and report on community growth, engagement metrics, and sentiment to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and engage with key community influencers and brand advocates, fostering strong relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries, feedback, and support, escalating complex issues to relevant internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and integrated community efforts.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, community management best practices, and new tools to continually optimize our strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our target audience and their needs to tailor communication and initiatives effectively.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in community management, social media management, or content creation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong ability to craft engaging messages.
  • Deep understanding and proficiency with major social media platforms and online community tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people and build rapport.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools to track community performance and engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with community management software and CRM systems.
  • Experience in a technology or software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.
  • Proficiency in German is a significant plus, given our location in Potsdam.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for content creation.
