Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive mixing of multi-track audio projects, balancing instruments, vocals, and effects to achieve optimal clarity and impact.
  • Conduct final mastering of audio tracks for various platforms (digital, streaming, broadcast) ensuring consistent quality and adherence to loudness standards (e.g., LUFS).
  • Collaborate effectively with artists, producers, and project managers to understand artistic vision and deliver on sonic goals.
  • Apply advanced audio processing techniques, including EQ, compression, saturation, reverb, delay, and spatial effects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical audio issues, ensuring seamless workflow and project delivery.
  • Maintain and organize audio project files, backups, and studio equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest audio technology, software, and industry trends to continuously enhance production quality.
  • Provide constructive feedback and creative solutions during the production process.
  • Perform quality control checks on all mixed and mastered audio to ensure flawless output.

Required Skills

  • Expert proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio).
  • Demonstrated expertise in mixing and mastering techniques, including advanced signal processing and dynamics control.
  • In-depth knowledge of audio physics, acoustics, and psychoacoustics.
  • Strong understanding of various audio file formats, sample rates, bit depths, and their implications.
  • Proficiency with a wide range of audio plugins (e.g., Waves, FabFilter, iZotope Ozone/Neutron, UAD).
  • Exceptional ear for detail, critical listening skills, and a keen sense of musicality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
