Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions according to established protocols and precise specifications.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses under the supervision of senior scientists.
- Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and analytical balances.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory glassware, equipment, and work areas to maintain a sterile and organized environment.
- Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and reagents, and report stock levels.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing insights and contributing to a positive work culture.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and data interpretation.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology).
- Fundamental understanding of general laboratory techniques and scientific principles.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory calculations and data recording.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks and documenting results.
