You’ll set your own schedule, choose the subjects you specialize in, and work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 or small-group tutoring sessions, both in-person and online.
- Develop personalized learning plans tailored to student needs, academic goals, and learning styles.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Prepare students effectively for examinations, coursework, and standardized tests across relevant subjects.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and student performance.
- Communicate student progress and administrative updates to Career.zycto staff.
- Stay informed on curriculum changes and educational best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in one or more academic subjects (e.g., Maths, English, Sciences, Humanities, Languages).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and student success.
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse student needs and learning challenges.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant academic field.
- Previous experience as a private tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant.
- Experience teaching students across different age groups (e.g., Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level).
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum.
- Certification in online teaching or tutoring.
