This professional role is critical in ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace across various industrial operations. As the Health & Safety Officer, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring robust safety programs that adhere to national and international standards, specifically tailored for an industrial environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting comprehensive risk assessments, investigating incidents, and providing expert guidance to management and staff on best practices for hazard prevention and control. You will be a proactive force, championing a strong safety culture through engaging training sessions and continuous awareness campaigns. This position demands a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a profound understanding of industrial safety regulations, including those pertaining to machinery, hazardous materials, and confined spaces. You will work closely with departmental heads, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure that all activities within the industrial estate are conducted with the utmost regard for employee well-being and operational integrity. This is more than just a compliance role; it’s an opportunity to shape the safety landscape of a dynamic industrial setting, protecting valuable assets – both human and material – and contributing directly to the sustained success and reputation of our partner organization.
