Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchenware and equipment meet sanitation standards and are promptly returned to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleanup tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to established guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a continuous flow of clean dishes.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support other kitchen duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor.
