Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor user-generated content across various online platforms (forums, social media, comments sections) to ensure compliance with community guidelines and terms of service.
  • Actively engage with community members, responding to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify, report, and take appropriate action on inappropriate content, spam, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Proactively initiate and moderate discussions to encourage positive interaction and engagement.
  • Escalate complex issues or sensitive situations to senior moderators or relevant departments as needed.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of community guidelines and moderation policies.
  • Provide regular reports on community sentiment, emerging trends, and key moderation metrics.
  • Stay informed about platform changes, online trends, and best practices in community management and moderation.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency in using various social media platforms and online communication tools.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain impartiality in sensitive situations.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with navigating digital interfaces.
