Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement accurate demand forecasts for a portfolio of FMCG products, utilizing historical data, market trends, and promotional plans.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing holding costs and waste across various distribution channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, contributing insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and finished goods.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to maintain continuity of supply.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar role within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory optimization techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and their impact on business performance.
- Proactive and organized approach with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
