Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and meet customer service level agreements.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and system updates.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, transporters, customs brokers, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare comprehensive logistics reports, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Manage documentation for all shipments, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery notes.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential disruptions in the supply chain, implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Train and supervise junior logistics staff or warehouse personnel as needed, fostering a culture of excellence.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
