Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inbound communication channels (phone, email, chat) related to dispatch operations.
- Accurately input and update dispatch information into our transportation management system.
- Coordinate with drivers to assign routes, provide instructions, and track progress.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding shipment status, potential delays, and delivery confirmations.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and communications.
- Assist in optimizing daily routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
