Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize output and minimize waste.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality control standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs for team members.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, efficiency, and scrap rates.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics departments to resolve operational issues and improve cross-functional synergy.
- Participate in and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage raw material inventory and finished goods flow to prevent shortages and optimize storage.
- Troubleshoot machinery and process malfunctions, coordinating with technical teams for timely resolution.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a production supervision role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement data-driven improvements.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Competence in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) or similar production management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili.

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
