Key Responsibilities
- Assist bakers in preparing a wide range of bakery products including breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers safely and efficiently.
- Monitor baking temperatures and times to ensure products are baked to perfection.
- Decorate and finish bakery items, ensuring attractive presentation for display.
- Package, label, and display bakery products according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery area, equipment, and utensils at all times, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Receive and store bakery ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
- Assist customers with their bakery selections and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the bakery department.
