Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, glassware, pots, and pans to the highest possible hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and sorting vegetables and other ingredients.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, walls, and storage areas, are kept meticulously clean and tidy at all times.
- Manage and dispose of all kitchen waste and recycling materials in strict accordance with hotel procedures and local environmental regulations.
- Receive and store deliveries efficiently, carefully checking for quality, quantity, and ensuring proper rotation of stock to minimize waste.
- Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance and thorough cleaning of the equipment.
- Support the entire kitchen team with various ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure seamless service delivery and overall kitchen efficiency.

- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 20kg) and stand for extended periods.
