Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables, presenting menus with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage the waitlist and reservation system efficiently, accurately quoting wait times and communicating updates to guests.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, assisting with reservations, inquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist with light cleaning duties as needed, such as wiping down menus or resetting tables.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover and guest flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and minor complaints with grace and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless and positive dining experience for all patrons.
- Familiarize yourself with daily specials, menu changes, and restaurant policies to accurately inform guests.
- Assist in maintaining a tidy and appealing restaurant environment throughout service hours.
