Vodacom Lesotho is seeking enthusiastic Sales Promoters to join our team in the Tele Bridge, Quthing area. As a Sales Promoter, you will be the face of Vodacom Lesotho, demonstrating the value and benefits of our products and services to potential customers. You’ll work primarily in the field, interacting with diverse populations, understanding their needs, and effectively presenting tailored solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a strong commitment to achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with potential customers in the Tele Bridge, Quthing area to promote Vodacom products and services, including SIM cards, data bundles, airtime, and mobile money services.
  • Clearly explain product features, benefits, and pricing, addressing customer inquiries and overcoming objections effectively.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for new activations, recharges, and specific product promotions.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the value and ease of use of Vodacom solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a positive brand experience at all touchpoints.
  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence, reporting insights to improve sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products, services, and sales techniques.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to engage and persuade customers effectively.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in Sesotho and English.
  • A strong understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile telecommunications products and services or a quick learner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (at least 6 months) in direct sales, promotions, or customer service roles.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with the Tele Bridge, Quthing area and its local community.
  • Ability to adapt to various sales environments and customer types.
