Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including incoming shipments, warehouse storage, and outgoing deliveries.
  • Plan and track the movement of products according to customer requirements and internal schedules.
  • Optimize routes and schedules for delivery drivers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Manage inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Prepare accurate shipping documentation, invoices, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems to track orders, manage stock, and generate reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or concerns related to deliveries or logistics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
  • Proven experience with inventory management and control systems.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and warehousing regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CTL), or a related professional credential.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with local Jamaican customs and import/export procedures.
  • Knowledge of routing and scheduling software.
