Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly and efficiently at the pharmacy counter, providing a positive first impression.
- Process over-the-counter sales accurately and assist customers in locating products and understanding their usage.
- Assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to protocols, under direct supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage prescription queues efficiently to optimize workflow.
- Handle cash and card transactions, process payments, and manage returns according to company policies and procedures.
- Answer phone calls professionally, direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel, and schedule appointments as needed.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiry dates, and assisting with order placement and receiving.
- Ensure the pharmacy premises are clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and operational procedures.
- Provide basic information and advice on general health products and services to customers.
Required Skills

- Basic computer literacy for data entry, point-of-sale systems, and administrative tasks.

- Familiarity with basic medical or pharmaceutical terminology is an added advantage.
