Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs), customs forms, and invoices.
- Communicate effectively with freight carriers, drivers, and internal sales/warehouse teams to resolve issues and update statuses.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with organizing warehouse space to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain and update transportation management system (TMS) with accurate data entry for all shipments and activities.
- Assist in resolving transportation-related problems, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support to the logistics department, including filing, data analysis, and report generation.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Assist with route planning and optimization efforts to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Proactively identify potential issues and communicate them to relevant stakeholders to prevent service disruptions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1.5 years) in a logistics, transportation, or supply chain support role.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data tracking and analysis.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to react quickly to unforeseen challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
