Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport goods, documents, and personnel to designated locations.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Maintain the motorbike in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
  • Verify the accuracy of items being delivered or collected against accompanying documentation.
  • Handle cash or other payment methods securely during deliveries, if required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading items as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Represent Pick n Pay Lesotho professionally at all times.

Required Skills

  • Valid Motorbike Riding License (Class A or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a motorbike rider or delivery driver.
  • Excellent knowledge of local routes and areas within Ha Sekake and surrounding Quthing District.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to road safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform basic motorbike maintenance checks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical fitness to handle lifting and carrying items as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a retail or logistics environment.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with inventory management or delivery tracking systems.
