Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods, documents, and personnel to designated locations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain the motorbike in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
- Verify the accuracy of items being delivered or collected against accompanying documentation.
- Handle cash or other payment methods securely during deliveries, if required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Represent Pick n Pay Lesotho professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Motorbike Riding License (Class A or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a motorbike rider or delivery driver.
- Excellent knowledge of local routes and areas within Ha Sekake and surrounding Quthing District.
- Strong understanding and adherence to road safety regulations.
- Ability to perform basic motorbike maintenance checks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and carrying items as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a retail or logistics environment.
- First Aid certification.
