As a Retail Merchandiser – Store Visit, you will be the face of our client brands, ensuring their products are perfectly presented and readily available to consumers. Your primary mission will be to execute merchandising strategies, maintain planogram compliance, set up promotional displays, and provide crucial in-store feedback. You will travel to assigned retail stores within the Palmdale area, meticulously arranging products, stocking shelves, and ensuring all signage is correct and up-to-date. Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising resets, planogram adjustments, and product placements according to client specifications.
- Ensure all products are accurately priced, stocked, and properly displayed on shelves and in promotional areas.
- Set up and maintain promotional displays, end caps, and signage to maximize product visibility and sales.
- Conduct regular store visits within the Palmdale area to service assigned retail accounts efficiently.
- Monitor product inventory levels and communicate stock needs or issues to relevant store personnel or management.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with store managers and associates.
- Collect and report accurate data on in-store conditions, product availability, and competitive activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and insights to improve merchandising strategies and execution.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during store visits.
- Manage time effectively to complete all scheduled visits and tasks within deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail merchandising or a similar customer-facing retail role.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to read and interpret planograms and merchandising directives.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel between store locations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stand, and move frequently during shifts.
