Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior underwriters in the comprehensive evaluation and efficient processing of new business applications and policy renewals.
  • Prepare meticulous underwriting documentation, including accurate quotes, detailed proposals, and legally sound policy contracts, ensuring completeness.
  • Systematically gather and review all relevant information, such as medical records, financial statements, and comprehensive client histories, to effectively support informed underwriting decisions.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with agents, brokers, and various internal departments to obtain missing information or to clarify specific policy details.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date client records and policy information within the company's secure digital systems.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company underwriting guidelines, relevant regulatory requirements, and established industry best practices.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding underwriting status and specific policy details.
  • Support the timely and professional resolution of all underwriting-related issues and discrepancies that may arise.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement and refinement of existing underwriting processes and operational procedures.
