This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to oversee the entire winemaking process, from grape reception through fermentation, aging, and bottling, ensuring the production of high-quality, distinctive wines that reflect the terroir and the winery’s philosophy.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the winemaking process from grape reception to bottling.
- Conduct comprehensive grape analysis and make informed decisions on harvest timing and sorting.
- Manage fermentation processes, including yeast selection, temperature control, and nutrient management.
- Implement and supervise cellar operations such as racking, blending, fining, filtration, and stabilization.
- Monitor wine quality through regular sensory evaluation and laboratory analysis.
- Maintain meticulous cellar records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and quality control protocols.
- Lead, train, and mentor cellar staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with vineyard management to optimize grape quality and vineyard practices.
- Develop and refine winemaking protocols and contribute to new product development and innovation.
- Manage inventory of winemaking supplies and maintain cellar equipment.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the winery.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Enology, Viticulture, Fermentation Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a commercial winery.
- Profound knowledge of winemaking techniques, fermentation science, and cellar operations.
- Strong sensory evaluation skills and an excellent palate.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a small team.
- Proficiency in laboratory analysis and quality control procedures.
