Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and extend asset lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
  • Execute timely repairs of equipment, including replacing worn parts, adjusting components, and calibrating systems to minimize downtime.
  • Install, test, and commission new equipment and machinery as required, ensuring seamless integration into existing operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment performance data within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with production operators, engineers, and management to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on basic equipment operation and maintenance best practices.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems (e.g., gears, bearings, pumps, conveyors).
  • Strong electrical aptitude, including experience with motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance and repair.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Commitment to safety practices and understanding of OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and CMMS usage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing equipment such as packaging lines, CNC machinery, or process equipment.
  • Experience with CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix).
  • Welding or fabrication experience.
  • Forklift and aerial lift certifications.
