Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Support nurses in monitoring patient vital signs, documenting observations, and reporting any changes in patient condition.
- Help patients with mobility, transferring, and ambulation, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment, including changing linens and ensuring hygiene.
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as directed by nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a sense of comfort and reassurance.
- Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is clean and ready for use in the care unit.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
