Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using our established inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring efficient material flow.
- Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and collaborate with procurement to initiate reorders.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports, identifying trends and recommending improvements to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with warehousing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Assist in the development and improvement of inventory management processes and policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards within the inventory area.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall operational goals and project requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related supply chain role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
