Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using our established inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring efficient material flow.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and collaborate with procurement to initiate reorders.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, identifying trends and recommending improvements to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Coordinate with warehousing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of inventory management processes and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards within the inventory area.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall operational goals and project requirements.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP).
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of German customs regulations and import/export procedures.
  • Forklift operation certification.
