Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal departments to schedule and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring data integrity in logistics management systems.
- Verify contents of shipments against packing lists and purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members regarding shipment status and potential issues.
- Organize and maintain a tidy and efficient shipping area.
- Utilize various software platforms for tracking, data entry, and report generation.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping, logistics, or administrative role.
