Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule routes for drivers, technicians, or service personnel efficiently.
- Monitor real-time progress of dispatches, tracking vehicles and personnel to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate effectively and promptly with field staff, clients, and internal teams regarding schedules, delays, and updates.
- Manage incoming service requests, prioritize them based on urgency, and assign tasks appropriately.
- Handle emergency situations, unexpected changes, and last-minute cancellations with calm and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including logs, reports, and service documentation.
- Optimize routes and schedules for cost-effectiveness, fuel efficiency, and timely service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements for all operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of improved dispatching procedures and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Dispatcher or in a relevant operational coordination role.
- Excellent knowledge of logistics procedures and scheduling software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound, quick decisions.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
