You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, develop comprehensive event proposals, manage budgets, source vendors, and coordinate all logistical aspects. Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to determine event objectives, requirements, and budget for both wedding and corporate events.
  • Develop detailed event proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, and budget estimates.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage a wide range of vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, AV specialists, etc.) to secure the best services and rates.
  • Create comprehensive event layouts, schedules, and run-of-show documents.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Handle all client communications, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues and challenges during event planning and execution.
  • Ensure all events adhere to health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and analyze event success.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an Event Planner with a strong portfolio of wedding and corporate events.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in budget management and vendor relations.
  • Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certification in Event Management (e.g., CMP – Certified Meeting Professional).

  • Experience with destination weddings or international corporate events.
