Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Log, track, and prioritize support tickets using our help desk ticketing system.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve common IT problems.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures, including setting up and configuring new user accounts and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and resolutions.
- Educate users on best practices for software and hardware usage.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications (MS Office Suite).
