Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including soft tissue, orthopedic, and emergency surgeries, adhering to the highest standards of veterinary medicine.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative examinations, develop surgical plans, and manage post-operative care, ensuring patient comfort and recovery.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy) to accurately diagnose conditions and inform surgical decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient surgical preparation, assistance, and patient monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients, documenting procedures, findings, and treatment plans.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners regarding surgical options, risks, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with the latest surgical techniques and veterinary advancements.

Required Skills
- Veterinary degree (DVM, VMD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Full licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Germany (Approbation).
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable post-qualification experience as a Veterinary Surgeon, with a strong focus on small animal surgery.
- Proficiency in both routine and complex soft tissue surgical procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic capabilities and ability to interpret various imaging modalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and ideally German (B2 level or higher).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications
