Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, thorough patrols of designated mall and office premises.
- Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems diligently, reporting any suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Implement and manage access control procedures for visitors, contractors, and employees.
- Act as a visible deterrent against theft, vandalism, and other illicit activities.
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports and maintain comprehensive daily logs.
- Liaise professionally with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
- Provide assistance, directions, and a reassuring presence to visitors and staff with excellent customer service.
- Enforce company policies and site-specific regulations consistently and fairly.
- Conduct routine checks of security equipment and promptly report any malfunctions or defects.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License.
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience in a security role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to identify potential risks.
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and email communication.
- Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
- A proactive approach to security and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCTV Public Space Surveillance (PSS) License.
- Previous experience in retail, corporate, or mall security.
- Advanced First Aid or Emergency Response certification.
