We are seeking highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Agents to join our expanding team, focusing on both sales and claims in the vibrant Petersfield, Westmoreland area. In this dual-faceted role, you will be responsible for proactively identifying new business opportunities, presenting tailored insurance solutions – including life, health, general, and property – to prospective clients, and managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to policy issuance. Simultaneously, you will serve as a crucial point of contact for clients filing claims, guiding them through the necessary procedures, collecting documentation, and liaising with underwriters and adjusters to ensure a smooth, empathetic, and efficient resolution. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and offering customized insurance solutions.
  • Present and sell a diverse range of insurance products (e.g., life, health, property, auto).
  • Complete applications, submit policy proposals, and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including policy reviews and adjustments.
  • Guide clients through the claims process from initial report to final settlement.
  • Collect and verify necessary claims documentation, liaising with relevant departments and third parties.
  • Educate clients on policy terms, conditions, and claims procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes.

Required Skills

  • Certification or licensing in general insurance or life insurance (or willingness to obtain promptly).
  • Associates Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
