Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new client leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend suitable insurance products (e.g., life, health, general, motor, property).
  • Prepare and present compelling insurance proposals, explaining coverage options, policy terms, and premium structures clearly and concisely.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing directly to the company’s growth objectives.
  • Assist clients with the claims process, guiding them through documentation, submission, and follow-up to ensure timely and fair resolution.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing ongoing support, policy reviews, and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and up-to-date advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client experience and streamline operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in a commission-based environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly resilient.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Certification or training in insurance sales and/or claims processing.
  • Familiarity with local market dynamics in Ingleside, Mandeville.
