Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of night shift employees, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee all operational activities during the night shift, guaranteeing smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor production/service levels, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train new night shift staff and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
- Handle disciplinary issues, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution among night shift personnel.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports, documenting key activities, issues, and resolutions for handover to the day shift.
- Collaborate with other departmental supervisors and managers to ensure seamless transition between shifts and continuous operational flow.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and resources during the night shift, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Respond to emergencies or unexpected situations with calm and effective problem-solving.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products/services meet required standards.
