Job Description

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Logistics Support Analyst to join our dynamic team, operating primarily from a remote setup, with occasional collaboration needs at our Leatherhead office. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our global logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing efficiency. You will leverage your analytical prowess to delve into complex logistical data, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions that enhance service delivery and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex logistics data to identify trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide remote operational support for supply chain activities, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., procurement, project management, finance) and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Develop and implement robust logistics solutions and strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on logistics performance, inventory status, and operational challenges for management review.
  • Monitor and track shipments, resolving any discrepancies or delays in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant international and domestic logistics regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in logistics technology evaluations and implementations to drive digital transformation within the supply chain.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and best practices across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, across various organizational levels.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
  • Understanding of logistics principles, transportation modes, and warehousing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Logistics Management Systems (LMS).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Certification in Supply Chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
  • Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid role.
  • Experience within the defence, engineering, or government services sectors.
