Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Web Developer with a strong aptitude for both backend and frontend development to join our innovative team in Grangetown, Cardiff. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications, covering both frontend and backend components.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices and company standards.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop and integrate robust APIs and server-side logic to support frontend functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve functionality and performance.
- Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong knowledge of a backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Ruby, Java, PHP) and associated frameworks.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
