Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency, considering traffic, distance, and delivery windows.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate systems and conduct regular stock counts.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Monitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and resolve any issues or delays proactively.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and relevant logistics standards.
- Negotiate with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
