Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) in alignment with business requirements.
- Monitor cloud resource utilization, performance, and availability, implementing proactive measures to ensure optimal operation.
- Ensure the security of cloud environments by implementing and enforcing robust security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and applications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate new services and optimize existing ones.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities to support critical cloud systems.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Administration or a similar role.
- Proven expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing) in a cloud context.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
