Key Responsibilities

  • Assist producers and directors on set with various tasks, including equipment setup, lighting, sound, and general production support.
  • Organize and manage production equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained, charged, and ready for all shoots.
  • Support pre-production activities such as scouting locations, coordinating logistics, and preparing detailed call sheets.
  • Assist with post-production tasks, including logging footage, basic editing, media management, and archiving.
  • Handle administrative duties like scheduling, filing, managing production documents, and processing invoices.
  • Coordinate with talent, crew members, and external vendors to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all production activities, anticipating needs and proactively solving issues as they arise.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices during production to maintain a secure working environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in video production or a related field, evidenced by a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency with professional video cameras (e.g., DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras) and audio recording equipment.
  • Basic understanding of lighting techniques, color theory, and principles of visual composition.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive team dynamics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or vocational training in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related discipline.
